pretty bowl, fair sound, missing vital component

This is a lovely bowl; the sound is good-ish but not great, for the price. Be aware is does NOT come with a cushion, so you will need to make one, buy one separately, or pick it up and hold it on your fingertips each time you strike it. As expected, the sound is very poor without cushioning.
