Red Tara Singing Bowl - 7"

This sturdy Red Tara Singing Bowl is hand-painted with the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" in Tibetan script along the side. It features a detailed relief image of Red Tara inside with a patina look.

Sometimes referred to as Avalokiteshvara's mantra, "Om Mani Padme Hum" translates roughly from Tibetan to "Praise the Jewel in the Lotus". Tara is believed to have been born of a tear shed by Avalokiteshvara upon witnessing the suffering of mortal beings.
