Full Moon Singing Bowl

This impressive singing bowl is crafted on the full moon day of the month. This day is considered the be the most auspicious day of the month in the Tibetan Lunar calendar. Buddhists base many of their major holidays, such as Vesak, around when the full moon falls. The moon's never-ending pattern of phases each month is seen as a symbol of the cyclical nature of life and death. They also acknowledge the moon's role in tides and its effect on water- the thing that all life depends on.
