These beautiful malas are strung from the seeds of the tropical lotus. In Korea, where our malas are made, they are called bodhi seeds. In China, they are called "moon and stars."
Please note: "Seed" malas like lotus seed and bodhi seed malas expand and crack when they get wet. SO, we suggest that you don't wear them in the shower!
