The well-known custom of presenting a white khata is a positive start to any relationship and indicates the good intentions of the giver. The khata is offered to teachers, as well as images and devotional statues. At Tibetan weddings, guests offer khatas to the bride and groom.
Khata is jacquard woven with Buddhism's Eight Auspicious Symbols in silk/rayon blend. The ends are traditionally fringed. Approx. 21" w x 84" l
