Tsa'tsas (pron. za-zas) are traditional relief images of Buddhist deities and are used in Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice. They are sacred objects because they represent the various forms of the Buddha. Looking upon a tsa'tsa is thought to purify the mind, remove obstacles and bestow merit. Tsa'tsas may also be given to those who are ill and dedicated to the deceased.

Green Tara is the feminine embodiment of enlightenment and a representation of the Buddha-nature that exists in all of us. Her female form represents wisdom, and she is called the Mother of all Buddhas. Tara comes swiftly to the aid of all those in need. She is the liberator from karmic obstacles and fear. Her right hand, extended in the giving mudra, bestows the common and uncommon siddhis, or accomplishments. Her left hand is held in the gesture of fearlessness to bestow protection.

The Green Tara tsa'tsa statue is handcrafted of durable resin and finished with a warm cream colored glaze that resembles antique ivory. Made in the USA.
