World renowned musician and former Buddhist monk Nawang Khechog invokes the healing blessings of the Medicine Buddha on this new recording. Nawang is one of the few Tibetan musicians today who has received transmission of the Medicine Buddha teachings. On this all-new album, native American artist R. Carlos Nakai joins Nawang Khechog as a special guest to create a cross-cultural "apothecary" of soothing melodies and healing chants that will infuse listeners with universal healing energy. Tibetan flute, long horn, and overtone chanting combine with native American instruments and calming chant to restore health and wellbeing.
