This handcrafted bracelet is created by binding together disks of Tibetan silver with intricate knots of strong cotton cord. Each disk is etched with one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols to invoke blessings and a double vajra for protection. A small turquoise cabochon is set in the end pieces of this stylish and sturdy bracelet for men and women.
The Eight Auspicious Symbols — a parasol, a pair of fishes, a treasure vase, a lotus flower, a conch shell, an endless knot, a victory banner, and a golden wheel — represent the offerings made to Shakyamuni Buddha upon his enlightenment.
