Meditation Benches

Because proper posture is key to meditation practice, we offer many alternatives to the traditional zafu and zabuton. Some people are more comfortable practicing on a meditation bench in the traditional Japanese kneeling posture, called "seiza" position. This position is an excellent alternative for people who have difficulty meditating with their legs crossed. Our benches also work well for reading, studying, gardening, or any activity where poised, relaxed posture is essential.
